RICK SIMONS: And Marty Jaspovice and I have been partners here for 35
years. We have two young lawyers with us, Rica Cruz and Suzie Lin
[phonetic], who we hope will be the third generation of fine
attorneys from this firm.

RICK SIMONS: Certainly our most famous case is our role as lead counsel
representing the victims of clergy sex abuse against the Roman
Catholic Church. But for many, many years we've been known at both
the trial court level and all the way to the court of appeals and
the Supreme Court of California for cases involving personal injury,
wrongful death and civil rights.
Part of what we offer at the law firm is that the client knows their
lawyer. They work with their lawyer right from the start of the
case and their lawyer works with them and knows them. You get that
small firm relationship that we're so proud of, but you get the big
firm power and results.
Our partner, Manny Furtado, during his lifetime always used to say,
you take care of the clients and the fees will take care of
themselves. And that's the ethic that we always try to follow is we
take care of the people we represent and we realize they only have
one case and it's up to us to make sure that they get everything out
of it that they should.
